The Actress and TV Host

Satu, aka "The Final Fangirl," (born Satu Miriam Rautaharju) is the host and creator of #NerdNoise, an entertainment web series dedicated to the "fandom" universe in fantasy, science fiction, and the supernatural.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Satu studied broadcast journalism at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.  In New York she made her mark as an entertainment reporter and VJ (Fangoria TV, Metromix.com, Comcast).   After taking a few turns modeling on the runway for New York Fashion Week (NARHAM, Kidear Youmans), she graduated from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, New York.  There she played the lead role of "Helen of Troy" in the Greek tragedy, Trojan Women.  Shortly after relocating to Los Angeles, Satu booked a lead role in Magnolia Picture's, The Coalition (2013), which won Best Film at the UMFF in Atlanta, GA.  Satu likes listening to metal, going to hockey games, and competing in the occasional US Air Guitar Competition.

Currently producing, directing, and starring in "Queen Gorya" TV Pilot (Final Fangirl Productions, Inc./Mad Carousel).  The Coalition (Now on Netflix! The Singer/Songwriter

The Film Producer

Through her production company Final Fangirl Productions, Satu is currently in production for #QueenGorya, a supernatural dark comedy TV series.  The social-media satire short, Public Persona  (written and directed by Satu, dubbed as "the other Facebook movie") has been used in college classrooms and screened at the New Filmmakers Fest, New York.
